Creative director
Kristian Chase took the reins as Creative Director in 2013. New York-born and grew up between London, Paris and New York, with a career spanning over a decade in high fashion and luxury brands. He brings couture and a bold approach to summer fashion. Kristian embodies fashion, luxury and above all, a distinct sense of style.
His prestige design pedigree comes from working in the ateliers of Dior, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Chanel and luxury retailer David Jones along with LVMH. He brings a very hands-on approach to his designs. His couture background has made Aqua Blu an icon for creating fabric, statement prints, and merging old and new techniques to produce collections that focus on craftsmanship, sustainability, and above all being a trendsetter.
In his short reign, Kristian has created some of the most iconic shapes and prints that have made Aqua Blu an Australian and International name. His creativity and passion for innovation show how mastering the art of bringing concepts to life has seen Aqua Blu become an Australian Icon.
